Procurement

Upgrading of the Southern Main Line between Lund and Arlöv – from two to four tracks – is one of the largest railway projects in Skåne during the coming years. The total cost of the project is calculated to be just over SEK 5 billion.

Trafikverket has procured a design and construct / turnkey contract including all works such as earthworks, concrete structures and BEST (Track, Power, Signal and Telecom) works.

The stretch of line from Lund-Flackarp was procured as an ECI - Early Contractor Involvement Contract with the performance part as an option.
