The Swedish Transport Administration carries out procurements in accordance with the acts that cover government authorities.
The Swedish Transport Administration works in both the 'classic' sector (road-related operations) and the 'utilities' sector (railway-related operations). This means that we will carry out our procurements in accordance with the Public Procurement Act and the Act on Procurement in the Water, Energy, Transport and Postal Services Sectors. The acts that are used depend on whether road- or railway-related activities are being procured.
