Sweden hosted the third Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety. The theme was Achieving Global Goals 2030. The Conference was held in Stockholm, on February 19-20, 2020.
The event was co-sponsored by the World Health Organization, and minister-led delegations from more than 80 countries attended. Representatives from the world of industry and research, international institutions and organizations participated.
The Conference’s host was the Swedish Minister for Infrastructure, Mr. Tomas Eneroth, and the first speaker was His Majesty the King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf, who began with introductory remarks on road safety.
