Have your photograph taken when renewing your licence
When you are about to renew your driving licence, you are able to have your photo taken at some of our driving test offices. You do not have to schedule an appointment to have your photo taken.
How it works
Your driving licence renewal document will automatically be sent to your address from the Swedish Transport Agency. You can then choose to have your photo taken at some of our driving test offices. You do not have to schedule an appointment to have your photo taken.

Your photo
Your photo will be taken in a photo booth and sent digitally together with your signature to the Swedish Transport Agency, who produce your new driving licence. The fee for the photo is SEK 200 and you cannot have a copy of your photo afterwards.
How to pay the fee
You pay the fee in the booking service. You can choose to pay by credit card, by Swish or by invoice.
When choosing to pay by invoice, you must pay it within 30 days of getting your invoice. The invoice will be sent to you no later than eleven days of the photography.
Use the driving licence renewal document to pay the production of your new driving licence. The cost is SEK 320 and is paid to the Swedish Transport Agency. When the driving licence renewal document and the payment has reached the Swedish Transport Agency it takes approximately five working days until you can collect your new driving licence.
