Submitting a bid to the public sector can sometimes feel complicated. Therefore, we would like to offer some advice to those who wish to submit a bid.
At the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), we actively work to ensure a large and varied supplier market and strive to maintain an open dialogue with our suppliers and bidders. However, there are many formalities that need to be completed when submitting a bid to a government agency. This list can help you.
Things to consider when submitting a bid:
- Read the procurement documents carefully and well in advance. Also, immediately read any supplements, questions, and answers that arise during the bidding period.
- Report any deficiencies in the procurement documents as early as possible during the bidding period.
- Ask questions as soon as possible if something is unclear.
- Verify all important dates.
- Structure your bid according to the instructions in the procurement documents.
- Attach the documents, certificates, and appendices requested with the bid.
- Take note of the requirements stated in the procurement documents and ensure you meet them, even if the requirements do not seem relevant to you.
- Submit the bid according to the instructions in the procurement documents.
- Ensure that your bid reaches Trafikverket on time. We cannot accept a bid that arrives late and must reject it.
- Feel free to contact us if you have any questions, see Contact Information.
