Regulation of increased fuel prices in existing contracts – this is how we do it
The war in Ukraine has led to increased fuel prices in ongoing contracts for our suppliers. Below, you can read about how we are regulating the price increases in existing contracts.
Due to the increased fuel prices, the Swedish Transport Administration's Director General decided in April that regulation should take place and that we should review how we could regulate the price increases. This decision was made in order to reduce the risk of insolvency and bankruptcy in existing contracts, and to reduce the risk of higher tender prices in future contracts due to uncertain cost developments.
The regulation will be based on the form of contract and contract conditions that you have as a supplier. Index regulation will be carried out with January as base month and regulation will take place starting in February.
