The North Bothnia Line continuously procures consultancy services and construction contracts. Browse this page to find out how to become a supplier and how the process works.
In larger projects, such as the North Bothnia Line, smaller procurements and call-offs for supporting activities are always underway, which usually take place through framework agreements. You can find these on the Swedish Transport Administration website

We are planning an art project at Skellefteå C, which is part of the Norrbotniabanan railway line.
The work with artistic design at Skellefteå C is currently in its start-up phase. A project group will be established, after which the work of concretizing the project will begin. This includes identifying potential locations at the station for art and preparing the procurement process.
The aim is to give the station a human touch and to make it more than just a point of arrival and transfer. The station will serve as a public environment and an entry point to Skellefteå, a shared meeting place for both residents and visitors. The art will contribute to the overall design and enhance the experience of the place.
The budget for the artistic design amounts to SEK 5 million. The timeframe from initiation to a winning proposal is about one year. The proposal is then usually developed further for another year before the final implementation documents are ready.
The work is led by the art Project Manager together with a project group. The procurement will follow the same model as at Sävar Regional Train Station, where an open call is published, artists are selected to submit sketch proposals, and a winner is chosen to develop and finalize the proposal for implementation.
Suppliers are referred to Kommers, the Swedish Transport Administration’s supplier portal, where the procurement will be published.
