The Swedish Transport Administration is planning to build a new motorway on E22 between the intersection Ronneby east and Nättraby. The reconstruction of the 13 km long stretch will mean improved passibility and road safety.
The European Route E22 goes between Trelleborg in the south and Norrköping in the north, and is a road of vital national importance for the transport system. Various measures have been undertaken in order to improve the standard on this stretch of the road. The section between the intersection Ronneby east and Nättraby has low standard in relation to the volume of traffic, which is why it has to be reconstructed. By reconstructing this stretch we will achieve improved passibility and road safety on the stretch between Ronnneby and Karlskrona in Blekinge County.
