Information to the Swedish Transport Administration’s suppliers on handling cost increases
The Swedish Transport Administration can state that there are cost changes mainly due to price changes regarding materials and fuels, caused by both the pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
To manage cost development, we have so far introduced indexed prices in both existing agreements and in future agreements.
The next step is that the Swedish Transport Administration, based on AB/ABT Chapter 6 §3, will test and evaluate the contractors’ demands for a change in the agreed price.
To support the management, we will produce a guide to describe the application of the regulations, including what is required of the contractors’ notifications. Through the guidance, we want to ensure management of cost change and equal treatment.
